Director, Human Resources

Purpose The Director, Human Resources, will manage and lead the execution of the Company's Human Resources (HR) strategies, policies and practices to facilitate the attraction, development and retention of an engaged and effective workforce at District and Branch locations. Reporting to the District Vice President, specific responsibilities include: o Provide human resources leadership and expertise in understanding all aspects of HR management; counsel managers and employees on the effective application of the Company's HR policies and practices, including regular interaction with management at assigned District. o Lead and direct recruitment and onboarding activities for all open positions within the District. o Implement talent management strategies including talent development and succession planning within the District. o Implement Company-wide HR strategies that support successful business outcomes at District and Branch locations. o Ensure that District and Branch locations are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations when implementing, counseling, educating, and directing management or employees in the application of HR policies. o Provide guidance and leadership for District and Branch management in forecasting, developing, and implementing an effective workforce plan. o Facilitate training and lead discussion on HR topics including performance management, compensation and benefits and legal compliance topics; may also lead or develop specialized training related for district and branch locations. o Support the rollout of Company and HR initiatives for District and Branches by utilizing change management and communication skills. o Serve as the liaison within the Company to support initiatives in the areas of safety and workers' compensation. o Ensure the effective delivery of employee communications by management at all levels throughout the district. Requirements: o 6-10 years professional Human Resources experience required, preferably in a large company with multiple locations. o Four-year degree or equivalent experience required. o Results driven with strong business acumen and consultative skills necessary to impact profitability required. o Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills and the ability to influence all levels within the company also required. Preferred Qualifications: o Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish. o HR Professional Certification. Working Conditions: Traditional office environment. Travel up to 30% of the time. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
