Manager, IT Global Networks

Are you our next Manager, IT Global Networks?
The Manager, IT Global Networks will lead the Global Network team in providing Wide Area Network services, Local Area Network, Server Management, Mid-tier infrastructure (Citrix and application servers), e-mail services, software distribution, voice services including Voice over IP, backup and recovery processes and management of related service providers.
What will you do?

  • Provide strategic and tactical planning and implementation for networking technologies including software defined networking, network load balancing, remote access, and unified communications applications including video conference. Lead the implementation of wireless and IP technologies to further leverage new emerging technologies to streamline company communications and data collection processes.

  • Lead the continual cost effectiveness, high availability, fast performance, and efficient utilization of the Global telecommunications network.

  • Lead, develop and coach employees in order to retain and expand organizational talent through focused attention and effort. Provide timely and constructive feedback on a regular basis to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles and the business. Manage performance issues when necessary.

  • Manage service providers ensuring service levels are met, new services are implemented according to Mosaic's requirements, and the quality of the service provided meets Mosaic's standards.

  • Provides primary tier III support of Mosaic network and servers.

What do you need for this role?

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Major in Computer Science or related field preferred.

  • CCVP, CCNP, or CCIE certifications are preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience working with tier I network service providers

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience

  • Proven experience as technical lead of network engineering teams

  • In-depth understanding of networking principles including, but not limited to, routing (BGP / OSPF / EIGRP / SIP), WAN (Frame-Relay / Private IP / ATM / MPLS / OC3 / EVPN / ISDN / VPN), LAN (Catalyst Switches / VLANs / Spanning Tree), Firewall (Cisco / Juniper).

  • Strong knowledge of Cisco IP Routers Switches, WAPS, VoIP, Call Managers and Gatekeeper products.

  • Strong knowledge of Call Routing and Inter-Company Voice Call Routing.

  • Extensive experience implementing and maintaining Cisco routers and switches.

  • Solid experience implementing and operating WAN/LAN monitoring applications.

  • Solid experience implementing and operating unified communication applications such as video conference and soft phone.

  • Experience implementing and operating Citrix NetScaler environments a plus.

  • Must be able to create and manage Operational processes and procedures

  • Candidate must be proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Microsoft Project.

  • Strong grasp of current and future technologies including, but not limited to, Advance IP Routing, switching, VoIP, ATM, MPLS, IP, Cisco Call Managers, Unity VM and other emerging network and voice technologies.

  • Extensive server knowledge - Intel/ Win and Unix.

  • Excellent verbal, written, listening, facilitation and presentation communication skills

  • Ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding

  • Ability to effectively work and create effective partnerships with employees at all levels within the organization.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
