Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, and systems by performing the following duties:
Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, & systems for commercial, industrial, & water/wastewater purposes.
Designs & directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus & equipment, determines methods & procedures, & conditions for testing products.
Develops applications of controls, instruments, & systems for new commercial, domestic, & industrial uses.
Directs activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation & operational testing conform to functional specifications & customer requirements.
Uses computer assisted engineering & design software (AutoCad) & equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Knowledge of control panel fabrication practices and UL508A.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience working in Industrial Panel design, medium, and high voltage switchgear.
Thorough understanding and experience of electrical design, AutoCAD, and systems integration.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, but will consider past experience and knowledge.
